We’re thrilled to announce that we’re offering an incredible trip to Japan for the All Japan Koi Show 2026, taking place January 24th–25th — the biggest and most prestigious koi event in the world! 🐟
We’re also delighted to share that Tim Waddington from Quality Nishikigoi will be joining us, bringing his wealth of experience and knowledge of Japan and its koi farms. 🇯🇵🙌
🗓 Trip Overview:
DAY 1 - Friday 23rd January
Arrive in Tokyo City, free time, settle in, and enjoy exploring the city. (1 Night stay in Tokyo, hotel booked by us, paid by you on departure approx £100 per night)
DAY 2 - Saturday 24th
AM - Visit the world-famous Toyosu Fish Market in the morning, followed by the All Japan Koi Show, where you’ll see the very best koi in the world on display. (Tickets paid for by you on the gate - approx £10pp)
PM – Take the bullet train (approx £80 for green car, one way, paid at station) up into the mountains to soak in Japan’s breathtaking scenery and relax, ready for the days ahead.
DAY 3 onwards - Sunday 25th -31st
Spend the days koi hunting, visiting top breeders and selecting from some truly amazing koi.
Evenings are free time but you’re welcome to join us for an evening meal and drinks.

FLIGHTS….
You will book your own flights but please let us know if you need any help. I will add my flight on the group once booked if people want to fly the same time as me.
DEPARTURE DATE - there is no set departure date. I will be flying back on the 31st January. People can leave anytime from day 4 (26th) to day 9 (31st) it’s completely up to you how long you choose to stay!
HOTELS
All hotels, both in Tokyo and in the mountains, will be booked by us, paid by you on departure. (£100 per night in the city, £70 per night in the mountains approx inc breakfast)
TRANSPORT
We will organise car hire, allowing the group to travel together comfortably - (£25per person, per day - bank transfer each day)
Please also remember you will need a bullet train back from the mountains to the airport on departure. (approx £80 for green car, one way)
This is a fantastic opportunity to experience Japan’s koi culture up close and be part of something truly special.
