We have been extremely lucky to secure 25 absolutely outstanding VHQ Tosai from Shintaro Koi Farm and when we say special, we really mean it.

These koi have been personally hand-selected by Shintaro himself. He has allowed us this opportunity while making his own final selections for his mud ponds in Japan — so this is a rare chance to own something truly exceptional.

What is the Mud Pond Event?

These Tosai will be released into our main mud pond this summer, where they will grow naturally in the perfect environment. Here’s how it works:

Release Day Experience

You’ll be invited to join us and personally release your very own koi into the mud pond — an unforgettable experience.

Follow the Journey

We’ll provide regular updates on YouTube and social media so you can watch your koi develop throughout the season.

Harvest Day Event

At the end of the season, you’ll return to harvest your koi, carry it from the mud pond, and take part in the full experience.

Special Guest

Shintaro himself will be joining us again this year — helping with the harvest and taking photos with you and your koi as a lasting memory.

Quarantine & Collection

After harvest, all koi will undergo a short quarantine period to ensure they are healthy and ready for collection or delivery.

Certification Included

Every koi will come with its own certificate to track its journey and development.

Mud pond growing is part of the excitement, while growth can never be guaranteed exactly, our past results have been fantastic, and we aim to deliver something truly special.

In the unlikely event of loss (which we have not experienced), you will receive a full refund or choice of replacement koi. No koi will be swapped unless total failure, once you have chosen your koi.
